Your role and responsibilities
We are a "You build it, You run it" culture. As a developer, you will join our follow-the-sun rotation where you will be the primary responder for automated system alerts. You will follow runbooks to resolve such issues and use your troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose or troubleshoot platform or Data Service issues.

Required technical and professional expertise
- 8+ years’ experience in Python
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving database hosting issues (e.g, replication, clustering) in production
- Experience in application and performance design using databases and troubleshooting of application-side database issues
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD environment
Preferred technical and professional experience
- 8+ years with the build, installation, and runtime of MySQL
- 8+ years with operating MySQL in production environment
- The use of Kubernetes in a production environment
- Operating a database service in a large scale environment
- Knowledge of SQL best practices, including schema and index designs
