The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Producing accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Preparing and overseeing of the country statutory financial statement preparation and submission to authorities.
• Managing country treasury and tax operations and primary contact for global / Area tax and/or treasury organization.
• Actively working on process standardization, preparing various SOPs, Process Maps and country Sign offs.
• Managing the timely, clear and concise communication of material items impacting financial results.
• Working with Global Service Centre (GSC) teams to manage the monthly / quarterly and yearly financial close process.
• Liaising with other finance disciplines for cross-functional activities.
• Acting as 3M liaison for external financial, tax and regulatory bodies.
• Supporting country teams in decision making process from financial perspective.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance
• Proven professional experience in finance and/or accounting in a private or public sector

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Strong financial acumen – Knowledge of local statutory and tax requirements
• Experience and ability to influence the organization
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in using SAP, Power BI, Finance Dashboard, and other 3M financial platforms/ systems

Job specifics:

• Travel expectations - May include up to 10%[domestic/international]
• Employee may choose to work on-site or Hybrid mode
• Working pattern – Full Time
