You will:
Drives program efforts to implement vulnerability management strategy within private cloud environments and container deployments to increase the efficiency of Dell IT and Cybersecurity vulnerability management processes.
Analyzes security issues, determines cause and impact and identifies the corrective action needed to eliminate and prevent the event from happening in the future.
Provide opportunities for proactive vulnerability management and assist security organizations with research and development of tooling and applications that can shift security into CI/CD Pipelines.
Articulates risk and impact to stakeholders with the proven ability to convey the urgency and need to remediate a vulnerability commensurate with the risk it presents to Dell
Actively engages with various internal stakeholders including Engineering, Infrastructure and application development teams, and relevant teams in Cybersecurity to conduct holistic response management on identified vulnerabilities and the remediation efforts.
6+ years of related experience, specifically in DevSecOps, Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture, and/or Security Operations.
Hands on experience with Vulnerability Scanning & Management tools (Nexpose, Tenable, Prisma Cloud, Aqua, or equivalents) and driving vulnerability management activities for Cloud Environments (Azure, AWS, GCP etc.) and containers / Kubernetes technologies.
Experience in analyzing systems and identifying security problems, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and remediation
Experience in business process management, program management and/ or executive communication
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of DevOps processes, pipelines, and the use of security tooling to support DevSecOps teams
Desirable Requirements
Familiarity with cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS Inspector, Azure Defender, GCP Security Command Center).
Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and custom detection logic.
