In this role, you’re expected to:
Assist Branch Manager in developing, driving and implementing customer centric initiatives; handle customer issues and provide recommendations for improvement
Acquire New-To-Bank customers and generate referrals through execution of sales activities (via calls, walk-ins, and visits)
Monitor market and customers, assist in product launches and development / implementation of marketing programs, and build working relationships within the community to advance the strategic vision of Citi and create opportunities for growth
Provide back-up support to branch staff to maintain smooth operations within the branch
Assist in managing branch credit management and delinquency control; perform credit evaluation and loan approval on all unsecured and secured lending product applications
Develop, communicate and implement strategy to sustain current and generate new full investments and wealth management accounts
Provide coaching, ensure team has necessary operational/technical skills, and guarantee team has knowledge to meet service standards and individual sales goals
Conduct daily and weekly planning of sales activities, and ensure operational/compliance activities are completed
Perform supervisory duties including performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
5-8 years of relevant experience required
Previous experience in financial services and management preferred
Demonstrated people management, communication and problem-solving skills
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Consistently demonstrates analytic skills
