Responsibilities:
Contribute to the conception, development, implementation, and optimization of new algorithms extending existing techniques and systems allowing improved video analysis, processing, and compression.
Initiate ideas, design and implement computer vision algorithms for mobile, automotive and XR applications for superior hardware performance in resource constrained applications.
Document and present new algorithms and implementations in various forms, including standards contributions, patent applications, conference and journal publications, presentations, etc.
Ideal candidate would have the skills/experience below:
Expert knowledge of the theory, algorithms, and techniques used in video and image processing and compression in autonomous driving, robotics, XR/AR/VR applications.
Prior experience in computer vision applications to optical flow or video motion estimation.
Familiarity with Neural Radiance Field models.
Experience with deep learning structures CNN, RNN, autoencoder etc. and frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch.
Track record of successful research accomplishments demonstrated through published papers, and/or patent applications in the fields of machine learning, video coding, or video processing.
Solid programming and debugging skills in Python, C/C++.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills, great work ethic and ability to work in a team environment to accomplish common goals.
Master’s or PhD degree in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical engineering or similar field with relevant work experience or publications in the areas of video compression, video/image processing algorithms, computer vision, or machine learning.
Qualifications:
Master’s or PhD degree in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical engineering or similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in machine learning and AI, either in an academic or industry research lab.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Pay range:
$123,000.00 - $192,000.00
