Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the conception, development, implementation, and optimization of new algorithms extending existing techniques and systems allowing improved video analysis, processing, and compression.

  • Initiate ideas, design and implement computer vision algorithms for mobile, automotive and XR applications for superior hardware performance in resource constrained applications.

  • Document and present new algorithms and implementations in various forms, including standards contributions, patent applications, conference and journal publications, presentations, etc.

Ideal candidate would have the skills/experience below:

  • Expert knowledge of the theory, algorithms, and techniques used in video and image processing and compression in autonomous driving, robotics, XR/AR/VR applications.

  • Prior experience in computer vision applications to optical flow or video motion estimation.

  • Familiarity with Neural Radiance Field models.

  • Experience with deep learning structures CNN, RNN, autoencoder etc. and frameworks like TensorFlow/PyTorch.

  • Track record of successful research accomplishments demonstrated through published papers, and/or patent applications in the fields of machine learning, video coding, or video processing.

  • Solid programming and debugging skills in Python, C/C++.

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, great work ethic and ability to work in a team environment to accomplish common goals.

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical engineering or similar field with relevant work experience or publications in the areas of video compression, video/image processing algorithms, computer vision, or machine learning.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical engineering or similar field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in machine learning and AI, either in an academic or industry research lab.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Pay range:

$123,000.00 - $192,000.00
