Understands emerging technology trends and disruptions and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models
Understanding business requirements and defining technical architecture-based solutions that align to Ford Motor Company’s Patterns and Standards
Work with Product teams to define, assemble and integrate components based on Ford standards and business requirements (examples: hardware, software, availability, scalability and reliability)
Application Portfolio Management Architecture Governance Integration with other IT Systems
Develop strategy and requirements for systems that will implement Architecture processes, standards, methodologies and artefacts
Ensure internal and external partner requirements are taken into consideration when making architecture recommendations Work with external suppliers to maximize/align COTS products “out of the box” capability to strategy
Align business and technical requirements among all partners
Assist in development of training material for architects and other users
Provide a regular cadence with partners for information sharing and capability demonstrations
Support efforts of Architecture Management in driving and maintaining standards
Prepare presentation materials for the Architecture leadership team and other audiences
Research and evaluate new technologies and tools and participate in PoC effort
Develops and Communicates Architecture design for new products/features.
Supports the Product team in the development of the technical design and documentation
Provides support such as troubleshooting to application performance issues.
Participate in vendor solution evaluation processes.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Lead creation and management of Application integration models, GCP infrastructure provisioning and DevOps pipelines
Provides deliverables like standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to help the architecture review board (ARB) assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment on the business and IT estate.
Required Skills and Selection Criteria:
10+ years of relevant work experience in Integration solution architecture or a similar role., with deep understanding of cloud hosting concepts and implementations.
Experience in converting legacy applications to containerized microservice design applications.
Become knowledgeable in the use of required COTS products
Knowledge of enterprise modelling frameworks –C4 Model
Practical experience implementing cloud security best practices and different security tools and techniques like Identity and Access Management (IAM), Encryption, Network Security, etc.
Experience in implementing Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) for cloud-based solutions.
Strong exposure working in an environment where Development processes – Agile, SAFe been used.
Should have experience in BFS/Payment’s domain
Good exposure to Google Cloud Platform
Google Professional Cloud Architect certification is an advantage.
