About the role:

This role offers a hybrid work schedule of approximately three days per week and can be based out of our office in Arden Hills, MN, or Marlborough, MA.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large healthcare datasets using statistical and data analysis techniques, including claims data, electronic health records (EHRs), and patient registries.
  • Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses to assess healthcare utilization patterns, treatment effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement predictive models to identify patient populations at risk, forecast healthcare trends, and evaluate the impact of healthcare interventions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and execute HEOR studies, ensuring alignment with research objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate comprehensive reports, presentations, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to key internal stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, methodologies, and best practices in HEOR and healthcare data analytics, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
  • Adhere to data privacy and regulatory guidelines, ensuring the ethical and secure handling of sensitive healthcare information.

Required qualifications:

  • Formal training in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, health economics, public health, or a related field.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in healthcare data analysis, preferably within the HEOR, medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology.
  • Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, R, STATA, or Python, with a strong understanding of data manipulation, regression analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with healthcare databases and coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS).
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex healthcare data and generate actionable insights.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
