Key job responsibilities
• Analyze data to find actionable insights that lead to business insights and opportunities.
• Build dashboards and custom reports to track performance and investigate key business questions.
• Engage with diversified customer groups to understand their needs and deliver business intelligence solutions.
• Partner with Data engineers to define the data elements that the team should leverage to enable capabilities.
• Recommend new metrics, techniques and strategies to improve the operational and quality metrics.
• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, validation, and documentation.
A day in the life
• Empathize with the customer and understand their problems and needs.
• Dive deep to find the root cause of the problem and suggest solutions (short/mid/long term).
• Perform benefits and tradeoff assessment to assess the best solution considering the timeline and available resources.
• Collaborate with the tech team and bring the solutions to life (build world class products).
• Participate in the tech discussion and ensure that the product is scalable and sustainable.
• Connect with the customer throughout the product lifecycle and ensure we exceed their expectation.

- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
