As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will mine large amounts of data, build metrics, and drive customer adoption. You will work closely with customers, product managers, and engineers to drive automated analytics, reporting, and decision making. - Recommend new metrics, techniques and strategies to improve the operational and quality metrics.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, validation, and documentation.A day in the life
• Work with the customer to understand their problems and needs.
• Dive deep to find the root cause of the problem
• Collaborate with the tech team and bring the solutions to life.
• Connect with the customer throughout the product lifecycle and ensure we exceed their expectation.
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
