Field Service Update ManagerJob Description

As a Field Service Update Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all field service updates (Field Change Orders or FCOs) are properlyimplemented by Philips indirect channel partners. This includes ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements and providing effective support to partner channels.


You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that our partners comply with regulatory requirements related to field service updates.
  • Addressing and preventing overdue field service updates.
  • Managing and tracking the status of field service updates, ensuring they are completed on time, and providing necessary follow-up documentation.
  • Driving operational performance related to field service updates with our partners.
  • Leading weekly reviews with different regions to assess progress, identify risks, and define mitigation strategies.
  • Handling escalations regarding non-performance and collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensuring cost recovery for the parts related to field service updates.
  • Informing partners about new updates and collecting evidence of their implementation.
  • Translating regulatory and process requirements into terms and conditions for partner contracts.
  • Supporting the improvement of the field service update process through IT tools and continuous quality and efficiency initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Vocational level education or equivalent
  • Experience in Customer Services or Customer relations
  • Experience in Install base mgt and or FCO mgt
  • Experience with Partner channels
  • Ability to maintain a helicopter view and prioritize
  • The ability to build fast Relationships
  • Proactively & independed decision making
  • Communication- and Negotiation skills.
  • Stress resistant.
  • Customer oriented
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and bring them together for quick resolution
  • Understanding of the different go to market business models in the Market environment
