ABOUT THIS ROLE
As an AV Events Program Manager you will oversee the portion of Audible’s event portfolio that require AV components. In this role, the AV Events Program Manager is the primary point of contact for assessment, planning, and operational management of AV events. The team is based out of Newark, NJ but provides global support. You will ensure the team has mechanisms, infrastructure, and resources in place to support a wide variety of events including in-person, hybrid, and virtual. You are the primary point of contact for the customer, you are responsible in facilitating the booking assessment, planning, on-site operations, show calling, live event operations, and post-production requirements. Successful team members step seamlessly into a corporate events environment, have strong organizational skills, ability to work across multiple teams in Audible and Amazon, demonstrate impeccable customer service, and are energetically driven to meet the needs of their customers and the team.ABOUT YOU
As an AV Events Program Manager, you will...- Ensure that resources are scheduled and prepared for event support
- Seeks opportunities to help others improve skillsets and knowledge base
- Maintains multiple operations calendars and databases
- Manage applicable inventories and budgets
- Ensure event requests are on triaged, planned for and executed comprehensively- Maintain a flexible schedule to support key aspects of events
- Manages any necessary technical testing or technical rehearsals
- Lead or support event day show flow creation, show calling, and stage management
- Lead or support onsite production engineers through load in, pre-show operations, post-show wrap up, and load out
- Create regular reports to share insights with leadership
- Be able to travel about 5 times a yearABOUT AUDIBLE
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 5+ years of experience in event or production management
- 2+ years of show calling experience
- 5+ years of experience with audio, video, lighting, and staging systems.
- 2+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and manage complex calendaring systems and databases
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience managing vendors
- Experience supporting livestream platforms
- Networking experience
- Technical certifications for AV hardware and services
