As a Validation Principal Engineer, you will be responsible to Focuses on activities in Define, Plan, Implement, Launch, and Sustain Phases. Drive test strategy implementation, issue analysis, DOE (Design Of Experiment), and validation technical investigations and training. You will partner with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership. You will also create test plans that include resource requirements based on inputs from Development and Marketing. Finally, you will work with external validation partners to develop comprehensive test plans and test coverage across multiple test organizations.You will:

• Identify and develop strategic test partnerships with ODMs and suppliers
• Review vendor test cases and gap analysis to do critical issue debugging
• Cross functional dissemination forportfolio/generationaltest strategy. Create product family test plan & review family test plan, or create product specific test plan & review product specific test plan. Design of experiments for one platform or for families
• Oversight, tracking and assessment of cross functional efforts (CiT, Workshops, CSLP, etc)
• test tool investigations and methodology recommendations (evolution during implementation)
• Collect and research failure data from various groups (Quality, Reliability, Validation, lessons learned, Service, Repair Centers, etc.) pertinent to N+2 NUDD (New, Unique, Difficult, Different) incubations .

Essential Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of related experience
• Solid understanding of ARM base hardware and software system architecture, and interactions and should be able to apply it to resolve issues
• Enthusiastic about learning new tools, languages and operating systems
• Proficient in reading and understanding technical data sheets

Desirable Requirements

• Minimum BS in engineering discipline (SW/EE/etc.), and design experience in the area of focus (Notebook, Desktop, BIOS, Graphics, Dock, and Communication preferred)
