What you’ll be doing:
- Own and manage the full technical integration lifecycle for enterprise customers in Japan and APAC.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all technical matters during onboarding, from pre-sale to go-live.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans , ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.
- Lead regular project calls with customer stakeholders, maintaining clear communication, documentation, and alignment across teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Forter’s integration stack: APIs, JavaScript, JSON, and broader web technologies.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (R&D, Product, Analytics, Solutions Consulting, Sales, and Customer Success) to ensure smooth delivery.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges, using a solution-oriented approach to keep projects on track.
- Perform data/technical gap analyses , documenting requirements and managing technical expectations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, guides, and tools to streamline the onboarding process.
- Continuously evaluate and improve Forter’s integration methodology based on learnings and customer feedback.
Who are you?
- Fluency in Japanese and English , with experience in a global, cross-functional environment. This role will support both Japanese clients within Japan, and clients across APAC
- 5 – 7 years of experience in technical implementation, integration, or solution engineering roles.
- Client-facing experience with enterprise customers, ideally in SaaS, payments, fraud prevention, or eCommerce.
- Strong technical knowledge of API integrations, JavaScript, JSON, and web/database technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects across diverse stakeholders and geographies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with both technical and business audiences.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with an ownership mentality and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.
Bonus Points For
- Experience in the payments, fraud prevention , or digital commerce industries.
- Familiarity with project management tools and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of risk management or transaction monitoring technologies.
