This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from strategic planning to new system development to supporting the customers that depend on our services. To succeed in this role, you will deliver reliable, scalable, controlled working environments built on AWS.Key job responsibilities- Develop automation to streamline upgrades and testing of Tier-1 services- Lead, refine, and automate the upgrade process for services like Atlassian and Nextcloud
- Manage File Storage solutions
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for all managed systems
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and updates
- Apply DevOps best practices to improve system reliability, scalability, and security
- Troubleshoot complex issues across various platforms and services- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in system administration and DevOps
- Document processes, configurations, and system architectures- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability and supportA day in the life
In this role, you will function as a DevOps Engineer. You will operate and support the team's services, as well as developing automation for upgrades/patching/testing, and enhance observability of the systems. You will work with stakeholders and senior engineers to design and develop custom solutions and integrations between tools and other services in a secure manner.

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure

- Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering
- Experience with networking fundamentals including hands-on experience with load balancers, switches, routers, etc.
- Experience utilizing AWS cloud solutions in a DevOps environment
