Description
Mac/Input product design interns will work on either early concept development activity, or execution project to be delivered. - Brainstorms design concepts and drives design concepts in all phases of a development cycle- Create feasible drawings for prototyping and manufacturing. Review DFM with vendors.- Hands on work to build and validate prototypes with various tools and equipment.- Drives failure analyses and design of experiments (DOEs) to reach design solutions and corrective actions
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in an engineering, science or related field
- Design and 3D experience
- Effective communications in both Mandarin and English to multi-functional team members
Preferred Qualifications
- Data-driven and detail focused. Self-driving and quick learning
- Availability for internship more than 6months is preferred.
- Experience with programming (Matlab, python, etc).
- Knowledge of scientific method, experimental process, root cause analysis, and statistical analysis
- Knowledge of GD&T with close attention to datum establishment and tolerance analysis
- Defining and implementing design validation activities (testing, metrology, statistical analysis)
- Directing / providing support for lab tools/fixtures
- Experience using a variety of metrology equipment
