Job Description

Responsible for balancing and reporting all shareholder cash & share activity for a series of mutual funds to fund accountants, portfolio managers, investment advisors and custody groups. Responsible for minimizing financial losses by analyzing critical error reports and adjustments to make sure all trades are accounted for properly. Also responsible for all money movements, draft check processing, commission payments and incoming & outgoing wire reporting functions.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Three to four years of experience in financial accounting activities

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • General understanding of mutual fund industry.
  • Minimum of one year experience in TA Accounting or equivalent experience.\
  • Good understanding of all automated systems in the department.
  • Good understanding of all critical procedures in the department.
  • Ability to reconcile funds with little supervision.
  • Demonstrates the ability to research open items on own.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and new fund assignments.
  • Actively pursues additional work or projects if downtime becomes available.
  • Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under some strict deadlines.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and time management skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications like Excel, Access and PowerPoint a plus.
  • Ability to perform multiple complex tasks independently.
  • Work may fall outside of established procedures.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $60,435.00 - $71,100.00 - $78,210.00
