2. Go-To-Market focuses on how we align our OneBMC unified service delivery model, empowering customers and partners with relevant content, processes, workflows, education, tools, and best practices aligned to the customer adoption journey.
The Senior Services Portfolio Manager will support functions across both of these focal areas, specifically
carrying the following responsibilities:
BMC OneCS Success Central integrates all Customer Success functions (Support, Customer Success Management, Education, and Professional Services) through a standardized Unified Service Delivery model. Success Central primarily focuses on two key areas – Product-Market-Fit (PMF) and Go-To-Market (GTM).
  1. Product-Market-Fit determines the product's value proposition, and the price customers are willing to pay. We also ensure that our productized services are fit for purpose and aligned with our customers' and partners' desired goals.
  2. Go-To-Market focuses on how we align our OneBMC unified service delivery model, empowering customers and partners with relevant content, processes, workflows, education, tools, and best practices aligned to the customer adoption journey.
The Senior Services Portfolio Manager will support functions across both of these focal areas, specifically
carrying the following responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the creation and review of Knowledge and Content Management for Customer Success colleague, customer and partner consumption
  • Focus on outcome-based knowledge and content management, considering impact to BMC Customer Success VSEM and customer outcomes
  • Support with resource allocation for new projects, ensuring that people with the appropriate skills and experience are assigned. Track, record and approve timesheets relating directly to resource allocation
  • Proactively identify and contribute to delivery of process improvements
  • Oversee delivery of projects relating to knowledge and content creation, to support our service offerings and proactive digital adoption campaigns
  • Assisting with defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Creating a detailed project timeline
  • Monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, and managing any deviations proactively
  • Identify, assess, communicate and manage project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Adhere to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality assurance measures
  • Staying informed about changes in BMC products, service offerings and deliverables, ensuring timely delivery and mitigating risks effectively
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • Patching Knowledge & Experience in Unix operating systems.
  • Proficiency in IT Operations: Understanding of IT operations concepts, including infrastructure components, server management, networking, and security.
  • Knowledge of IT Automation: Familiarity with automation principles, Infrastructure as a code, scripting languages (e.g., shell, PowerShell, Python), and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, terraform)
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in Supporting Linux and Unix operating systems.
  • Must have basic Knowledge of VMware vSphere, AHV, cloud
  • Work with Change & Incident Management Tools.
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams and influence the outcome
