The role of the Systems Engineerencompasses the complete product design and development life cycle includingSystem concept development, design, build, qualification, certification, andin-service support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Determining and deriving the technical requirements from the customer ensuring the compliance of the system and its products to the customer documentation.
  • Coordinating other development groups (Electrical, Hardware, Mechanical, Software, Test Services, Safety, etc.) to ensure the technical activities on project are in accordance with technical requirements. Also, you will liaise with Program Management, Design, Chief Engineers, Development Engineers, Manufacturing and Customers when necessary.
  • Providing general technical direction on component level during development life cycle.
  • Subsystem/component level architectural decisions, defining, supervising and evaluation trade studies justifying decisions.
  • Being Primary point of contact for external and internal customers, negotiation of technical specification and architecture at the component level

Key skills and qualifications

  • University education in relevant technical field – Aerospace, Mechanical or Systems Engineering
  • 2 - 5 years industry experience, exposure system engineering with focus on environmental control product portfolio is beneficial
  • Solid background in thermodynamics, gas dynamics and/or air management
  • Basic comprehension of requirements management (capturing and definition, subsequent detailing, definition and validation and verification of technical requirements), preferably from Aerospace industry
  • Good command of English language (spoken and written) for regular communication with global team members, stakeholders and customers
