Microsoft Account Executive - Education

As an Account Executive for Education, you will be responsible for leading the sales strategy and execution for a portfolio of strategic accounts in the education sector. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge, customer insights, and Microsoft solutions to help customers achieve their digital transformation goals and outcomes. You will also collaborate with a diverse team of internal and external stakeholders, including customer success managers, technical specialists, industry advisors, partners, and executive sponsors.​

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND experience working in a relevant industry (e.g., Healthcare, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, and/or relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).

    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration Degree AND experience working in an industry (e.g., Government, Education), driving digital transformation, and/or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).

    • OR extensive experience in working in a relevant industry (e.g., Government, Education), driving digital transformation, and/or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).

  • Extensive knowledge of the Education market, with a particular emphasis on universities.
  • This role requires proficiency in written, reading, and conversational Czech as you will be assigned to the Czech Customer Market.
Responsibilities
  • Customer Advocate – Develops and oversees the execution of account plan(s) to ensure Microsoft revenue targets and customer outcomes are met. Engages with internal and external stakeholders on business planning, to promote mutually beneficial customer digital transformation strategies. Orchestrate full customer team across all areas of Microsoft to ensure we are focused on delivering customer outcomes across the customer lifecycle to build deep trust with Microsoft.
  • Education Industry Knowledge – Understands the education industry, its challenges and opportunities for the education customers, and the ecosystem in education. Builds and maintains a strong knowledge of customers’ industry, associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions. Gains deeper insights and knowledge through direct engagement in their customers’ business and operations. Has and expands a relevant network in education.
