Senior Platform Engineer (Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering)
General Responsibilities:

• Design and implement LAN/WAN topologies and connectivity.

• Consult with various technology support groups as part of network design and development efforts.

• Identify gaps in current design and research/propose appropriate solutions based on technical and business drivers.

• Lead/contribute to network solutions development, optimizations, standards, and technology refresh efforts.

• Provide input to network design standards and maintain network topology diagrams and technical design documents.

• Participate in technology integration efforts with other engineering and support teams.

• Provide direct support of audit and ad hoc consulting engagements.

• Ensure compliance with departmental and enterprise security configuration standards.

• Engage with all internal and external parties as necessary to drive and complete work.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

• At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory)

• At least 2 years of experience with AWS

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Networking technologies (SDWAN, Cisco ACI, Equinix Cloud Exchange)

• 3+ years of experience in network architecture, design and implementation

• 2+ years of experience with coding and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Nornir)

• 2+ years of experience working with Agile Development Practices

• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service

McLean, VA: $127,500 - $145,500 for Senior Platform Engineer Richmond, VA: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer Plano, TX: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform EngineerThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
