As a Principal software engineer, you will develop and deploy ETL pipelines across Dell Digital, enabling our development partners key insights through Application Intelligence Tools. The created pipelines will feed Moogsoft as a central correlation platform in order to drive operational efficiencies across the entire Dell Digital landscape.

You will:

• Design and implement ETL pipelines in the Cribl tool
• Evaluate opportunities to optimize data footprint using ETL tools
• Design and develop data models to support process and data integration
• Use communication and process skills to understand monitoring alerts/tools to ingest into Event Correlation tool
• Design/implement new system interfaces as the deployment matures and grows

Essential Requirements

• Multiple year experience with ETL technologies(Cribl, etc)
• Experience with building data pipelines into correlation/observability tools such as Moogsoft, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.
• Solid experience with Javascript, CI/ CD Pipelines, Azure Pipelines and DevOps ecosystems (Gitlab/ Gerrit, test frameworks etc).
• Great experience designing and implementing solutions leveraging Multiple Monitoring Tools, Moogsoft and ServiceNow
• Good experience with industry-leading observability solutions (Splunk, Dynatrace, DataDog, etc.) to solve complex operational and performance issues

• Proficient understanding of ITIL practices, and vast knowledge on software configuration management systems
• Knowledge and experience with deploying micro services/RESTful services on cloud, and collaborate with DevOps / DevSecOps teams proactively to build reliability and security into their services without disrupting the CI/CD pipeline.
