Job Description:

EHS lead for Office-based and field staff across Australia and New Zealand. The role includes:

• Coordination of EHS compliance and legal requirements implementation across ANZ.

• Workers Compensation coordination and return to work across ANZ, including self-insurance in NSW.

• Support to develop site EHS culture, promote the awareness of EHS.

• Lead ergonomics program implementation across ANZ.

• Support and achieve EHS goals and programs.

• Ensure EHS management system and EHS standard implementation and improvement of EHS performance.

• Support site EHS relevant improvement projects.

• Development and deliver necessary EHS training for relevant audiences.

• Completing the draft of the SIRA annual submission and business plan, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

• Attend monthly one-on-one meetings and data quality reviews conducted by SIRA

Qualification

• Experienced environmental, health and safety advisor.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an EHS role.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Self-insured workers compensation.

• PC literacy with Microsoft Office application

  (eg Typing, email, Spreadsheets, 3M IT platforms)
  .

• Return to Work Coordinator certification.

• Internal auditor certification to ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.

• Hazardous substance management.
