About the Org
As a Go-to-Market Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a change landing and operational execution strategy and plan with the goal of maximizing customer adoption high priority initiatives across Venmo. You will have to createa GTM strategyfor Venmo highest priorities and operational execution landing plan.
The core responsibilities will include:
- Create compelling andimpactful GTM strategiesthat incorporates the customer’s needs and benefits.
- Create unique value props for the various customer sub-segments, ensuring that this is consistently leveraged acrossall GTM channels.
- Ensure customer facing organizations (i.e. Sales, Marketing, product, Customer Support) and internal stakeholders are aligned on delivery plans and commercially ready/equipped to start promoting/selling the new solution, product or feature.
- Take an active role in leading enablement initiatives such as launching new proof points and periodic reviews and updates of all global assets.
- Monitor product engagement metrics and capture feedback directly from customers and through customer facing teams to improve messaging and optimizethe GTM approach.
- Monitor and track product success in conjunction with supporting teams.
- Own and measure the success of go-to-market initiatives,demonstrating a clearimpact on product adoption, revenue metrics, and retention strategies.
The ideal candidate should have experience in:
- Track record of experience in GTM, Product Marketing, and/or Product Commercialization Strategy; ideally within payments or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, and messaging development.
- Passion about understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable insights for product development and market scalability requirements.
- Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills, able to develop and execute data-driven go-to-market plans and pilot programs.
- Collaborator extraordinaire who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and enjoys building solid relationships with stakeholders across the PayPal Inc. organization.
- Leading by influence with a data-driven approach to decision making
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without authority to drive Go-To-Market strategies, operational excellence, delivery of priority initiatives, process improvements, and change management.
- Experience providing operational support for pipeline process and presenting updates to an executive audience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting the communication, launching, and monitoring of product changes, with a focus on driving adoption and measuring impact.
- Experience analyzing processes and performance data to provide actionable insights and assess the operational impact of potential changes.
- Ability to contribute to the design and implementation of product process and system changes, including identifying integration points and updates.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative and non-traditional solutions for challenging, undefined problems.
