Within Citi, theGlobal Infrastructure Defense organizationis focusing on designing, developing, architecting and operating Citi’s global cyber security solutions across the enterprise.
In this role, the Emerging Cyber Security Engineering Lead is responsible to drive and oversee vision and execution of latest and next generation cyber security technologies, technology roadmaps across a set of product portfolios that conform with enterprise cyber security strategy.
Part of the responsibilities also include engagement with global stakeholders within the global Chief Information Security Office and Chief Information Office functions to harmonize cyber security solutions and drive joint strategy on the global enterprise infrastructure.
In this role you will be responsible to drive design, develop and certify innovative Cyber Security Strategies, products, solutions and deliver best practices. You will also be in a position to spearhead existing large scale security programmes toward execution.
As an Emerging Cyber Security Engineering Lead you will:
define Global Enterprise Cyber Security Strategies and Direction for selected cyber security portfolios.
be responsible for Global Cyber Security Products such as Next Generation Distributed Firewall & WAF technologies, Perimeter and emerging technologies such as SmartNIC and SmartSwitch Security Ecosystems.
research and develop industry leading security technology architectures together with various other R&D teams and industry partners.
drive and execute hands-on lab testing of emerging cyber security technologies.
benchmark test of various security products to determine product capabilities and limitations – including end-to-end complex security architectures.
build and maintain key vendor relationships, ensure close co-operation with key suppliers and security companies.
write and publish designs, test results and best practice guides for the global audience.
lead and influence a virtual global team of engineers both direct and indirect reporting lines.
work closely with executive management, department head(s) to define joint vision and strategy and articulate priorities.
Your profile:
Proven track record of cyber technology leadership and innovation.
Passionate for innovation and driving transformation within technology domains.
Strong desire to understand complex ecosystems especially within the cyber security space.
6+ years of experience with multiple security disciplines and strong understanding of layered defense concepts.
Hands-on experience with Firewalls, IPS, WAF technologies.
Strong experience with automation and software defined security/networking elements.
In-depth technical knowledge of Network / Routing technologies.
Strong unix / linux experience.
Scripting (Python/Perl/Bash).
University / College degree in any STEM area or equivalent industry/technology knowledge.
