Minimum / Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 7+ years accounting or finance experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 6+ years accounting or finance experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years people management experience or equivalent experience.
  • Professional accounting certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years practical experience accounting for investment activity under US GAAP.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Able to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid communication skills (written and oral), including an ability to communicate effectively across varied function stakeholders.
  • Great collaboration, teamwork, and business partnership
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Copilot
  • Able to handle complex business needs, with a high degree of ambiguity - Be relentless and push back when required.

Accounting Oversight & Close Excellence:

Oversee and guide the accounting for complex capital markets activities, including cash, investments, debt, hedging, insurance, and strategic investment programs. Ensure accurate and timely reporting under US GAAP and IFRS. Support monthly close and quarterly reporting processes, including internal dashboards, Board materials, and compliance documentation. Serve as a key point of contact for finance leaders and external auditors, presenting complex topics with clarity and confidence.

Strategic Partnership & Enablement:

Partner with Treasury, Tax, Legal, Corporate Accounting, and Investment Operations to launch new programs, implement new reporting requirements, and align accounting guidance with business goals. Lead the accounting operationalization of new or evolving investment structures and financial instruments. Provide insights and analysis to enable informed decision-making across Finance and Treasury leadership.
