The role of Business Intelligence Engineer II within the Network Design Planning & Engineering (NDPE) analytics team in Global Transportation Services (GTS) organization is responsible for building analytical solutions to propose designs that reduce cost to serve and improve customer speed. The BIE II focuses on both near term and long term 1P requirements that enable capacity growth, cost reduction, faster speed, better quality and greater sustainability in our transportation network.Key job responsibilities
This role develops and maintains sophisticated data models that recommend network design improvements in alignment with NDPE goals and objectives. BIE II creates dynamic and interactive data visualizations to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders. BIE II constructs visual mapping options that effectively illustrate distribution patterns and core transportation metrics.

- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
