The North America Transportation team is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer II (BIE) to focus on sustainability initiatives. As the first BIE dedicated to this area, you will play a crucial role in developing data visualization tools and recommending improvements to build a more resilient and sustainable transportation network.Success in this role requires strong analytical skills combined with the ability to effectively communicate and influence change across different business functions. You will need to translate complex data into actionable insights and persuasively present recommendations to diverse stakeholders.Key job responsibilities
- Analyzing large datasets to identify opportunities for sustainability improvements in transportation operations
- Developing data visualization dashboards and reports to track sustainability metrics and performance- Presenting data-driven recommendations to leadership and influencing decision-making around sustainability strategies
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sustainable transportation and data analytics

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
