Your key responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. You'll use both agile and waterfall methodologies to drive progress and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Plan, execute, and monitor projects using a hybrid of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Define project scope, create work breakdown structures (WBS) , roadmaps , and Gantt charts to guide execution.
- Utilize tools like Microsoft Project , Jira , or Trello to manage tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Lead project team meetings, track progress, and manage risk, issues, and dependencies effectively.
- Monitor project budgets, perform cost estimation , and ensure expense tracking aligns with the approved budget.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and prepare regular status updates for stakeholders.
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and resolve blockers or conflicts to maintain momentum.
- Support teams in problem-solving , identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
Skills and attributes for success
To succeed in this role, you should combine strong organizational skills with strategic thinking, adaptability, and the ability to inspire and guide teams through changing project demands.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies, including both Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall.
- Proficiency in project planning tools such as Microsoft Project , Jira , or similar platforms.
- Strong command of project planning artifacts (WBS, Gantt charts, roadmaps).
- Ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget with a focus on cost control and value delivery .
- Skilled in critical thinking , risk analysis, and issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Good organizational and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets , create detailed project plans, and drive execution across teams.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
- Experience in international environments.
