Key job responsibilities
You provide engineering support to multiple internal teams building high-performance, high-availability, large-scale Relational Database Systems (preferably PostgreSQL, MySQL) and work on projects like migrating existing RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL to multiple technologies like DynamoDB. You will develop database automation frameworks for complex systems hosted on AWS etc. You will work with product managers and engineering teams as the voice of the customer, helping design and deliver new features and product improvements that solve the biggest customer challenges. You will use your deep technical expertise, strong relationship-building skills, and documentation skills to create technical content, provide consultation to internal customers, implement multiple storage solutions for their Business systems and applications.A day in the life

Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a DBA- managing Relational Databases preferably (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Redshift and/or other RDBMS systems or in a similar role is required.
- 2+ years experience in handling large DB environment involving activities like Performance Tuning, Troubleshooting, Database migrations, Creation of Objects in SQL, NoSQL technologies
- Strong Experience in building Tools, Automation in at least one procedural language such as Python, Ruby, Java, Perl
