Key job responsibilities
You provide engineering support to multiple internal teams building high-performance, high-availability, large-scale DB systems and work on projects like migrating existing RDBMS like PostgreSQL to multiple technologies like DynamoDB. You will develop database automation frameworks for complex systems hosted on AWS etc. You will work with product managers and engineering teams as the voice of the customer, helping design and deliver new features and product improvements that solve the biggest customer challenges. You will use your deep technical expertise, strong relationship-building skills, and documentation skills to create technical content, provide consultation to internal customers, implement multiple storage solutions for their Business systems and applications.A day in the life

- Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a DBA, Database Engineer, or similar role is required.
- 3+ years experience DynamoDB, NoSQL Databases and/or other relational databases like RDS, PostgreSQL.
- 2+ years of experience in Database migrations, Creation of Objects in SQL, NoSQL technologies
- 1+ Experience with RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL), Redshift and/or other RDBMS systems
- Experience in UNIX shell and SQL, and at least one procedural language such as Python, Ruby, Java, Perl
