Key Qualifications
- Expert in Python programming, including https://github.com/rougier/numpy-100
- Expert in at least one ML framework (PyTorch preferred but tensorflow or jax are ok as well)
- Hands-on experience in implementing ML models and pipelines from scratch
- Experience with open-source projects and collaborative software development
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience and passion to circumvent unexpected roadblocks
- Experience with CUDA programming, and/or High-Performance Computing and/or distributed computing is a plus
- Past research experience is a plus
Education & Experience
M.S. or PhD in Computer Science (or related fields) or related fields or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements
- a public github profile with some examples of prior contributions (preferable)
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
