Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Experience : 20+ Years
Seasoned Program Manager with multiyear experience in Program Managing Software Releases for Tier1 product lines for large OEM. Develops and manages the execution of the program Plan of Record (e.g., on time, on budget, within scope). Establishes key program metrics and manages team to take action to ensure program success when metrics deviate from Plan of Record.
Strong Stakeholder Management: Collaborates with key stakeholders and program sponsors to develop goals, set the prioritization of deliverables, discuss involvement of business processes (e.g., program change management, communication), secure resources and drives/enables decisions necessary for on time delivery.
Proactive/Effective Customer Management including setting regular progress meetings/ associated dashboards.
Strong experience in Scope/Requirements Management and ensuring traceability as per the ASPICE process
Strong experience in managing 3rd party SW deliveries from partners/vendors and in the process ensuring dependencies/risks are identified/mitigated
Experience in RFQ process and SOW creation and establishing accountability.
Risk Management: Drives teams to identify program issues/risks and work with them in developing the associated mitigation strategies.
Good People management skills - ability to guide, mentor and nurture team, ability to influence and negotiate effectively with team members to define the team’s goals, work content and schedules
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
PMP Certification preferred
Strong understanding of Auto SW architecture, Auto specific Firmware and Embedded SW development in Auto Infotainment/ADAS/Telematics space (preferably Qualcomm auto chipsets)
