Prepare and post General Ledger (GL) entries, including but not limited to: cost splits, reclassifications, accruals, and reserve adjustments
Perform GL reconciliations and variance analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with both US and local GAAP
Maintain Fixed Asset Accounting and Tax Registers
Support year-end closures in accordance with US, Czech (CZ), and Polish (PL) GAAP, including CITR preparation
Participate in VAT and other statutory report preparations
Support the monthly closing process
Manage accrual preparation activities
Perform various general accounting functions, including developing and reviewing standard operating procedures, preparing required documentation, and cooperating with internal and external auditors
Handle other ad hoc tasks as needed within the Local Finance department
Work allocation: approximately 50% Czech local finance and 50% Polish local finance
Who We Are Looking For
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Solid knowledge of local tax legislation and statutory reporting requirements
Fluent in Czech and English; Polish language skills are a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate professionally across all organizational levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with SAP system is preferred
