Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft and advise BSC on drafts, and approve all types of contracts in a variety of areas, including supply/manufacturer, distribution, consulting, sale, non-disclosure, real estate, research, clinical investigator, asset purchase, business acquisitions and mergers, and other areas as needed to ensure BSC's business interests are protected.
- Responsible for management of all aspects of litigation involving the company, working with and directing outside Counsel in developing comprehensive strategies around lawsuits.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and represent the corporation during mediations.
- Review and approve all marketing programs, promotional pieces, and product literature and advises BSC on legal compliance issues involving marketing and sales.
- Advise human resources department on content and implementation of policies and procedures and on labor and employment matters.
- Provide legal counsel and support to the existing local BSC entities in all legal and compliance aspects, ensuring such entities are at all times compliant with all applicable rules and regulations. Establish and maintain new legal entities as may be needed.
- Conduct legal research on certain topics of interest to BSC.
- Assist the Associate Legal Director in projects and requests pertaining to geographies other than KSA, when needed.
- Advise management and HR on employment and labor law related issues.
- Facilitate transfer of legal responsibilities, assist and advise on acquisition-related issues as they arise, and direct outside counsel in assisting the company with acquisition issues as needed.
- Provides legal and compliance assistance to employees and management in other areas as needed.

Requirements for the role:
- Lawyer with 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably in the medical device sector or pharmaceutical sector.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Minimal travel may be required.
- Focused, able to resolve conflicts, works well under pressure.
- Good communicator.
