WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

  • Lead the global Color & Material Manufacturing Quality team to deliver on Nike’s product integrity goals.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive color & material manufacturing quality strategy and operating model that spans the end-to-end product lifecycle—from design through manufacturing.

  • Establish and maintain robust quality standards, metrics, and tools to assess supplier capabilities, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Partner with category teams, product creation, material vendors, and manufacturing partners to proactively identify and mitigate quality risks.

  • Provide technical guidance on material development, manufacturing processes, and testing protocols to ensure consistent product performance and aesthetics.

  • Drive issue management processes including root cause analysis, corrective action planning, and communication with stakeholders.

  • Represent the Color & Material Manufacturing Quality function in cross-functional forums and with senior leadership to advocate for resources, share insights, and influence decision-making.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product Integrity who is based at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, and will collaborate closely with:

  • Footwear, Apparel, and Accessories Product Creation teams

  • Material Manufacturing and Product Engineering Supply Chain teams

  • Material vendors and factory partners

  • External testing, inspection and certification partners

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Material or Textile Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 10+ years of experience in materials and color manufacturing quality, preferably in the Footwear or Apparel industry.

  • Deep technical knowledge of fibers, yarns, knits, wovens, dyeing, finishing, printing, and testing.

  • Experience with digital color tools and data-driven quality management systems.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop global teams, manage performance, and foster career growth.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
