Your new responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and analyze sales opportunities (e.g., customer strategies, solution requirements, etc.)
  • Assist in preparing presentations to align Siemens' and customers' visions on the business impact of a digital transformation
  • Prepare, and lead value-based customer workshops to gather insights into customers’ business objectives and challenges
  • Identify customer’s main challenges relatable to Siemens Smart Infrastructure’s solutions
  • Translate customer outcomes and objectives into tangible use cases
  • Define a secure and scalable edge-to-cloud technical solution architecture to be implemented to realize the customer target use cases, business outcomes and objectives
  • Collaborate with Bid Management team to create proposals
  • Coordinate with regional and local teams for seamless project handover
  • Provide feedback to global portfolio teams on market needs and insights related to Building X

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, economics or relevant business experience
  • Profound expertise of smart building technologies
  • Long-term experience in solution architectures in general and cloud architectures in particular
  • Good knowledge of IoT platforms, preferable within the building technologies industry
  • Practical experience in delivering consulting services to end customers, including customer co-creation and design-thinking workshops
  • Familiarity with use cases co-creation
  • Familiarity with Platform-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-Service environments is beneficial
  • Flexibility to work in a constantly changing work environment and with a geographically distributed team
  • Proactive, independent attitude, team-player and able to build trust with internal and external partners
  • Ability to look beyond the customer requirements, challenge the status quo and find new innovative solutions to solve customer’s struggles
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English. German and any additional European language would be beneficial
