In this role, you will balance “done” and “perfect”, and possess a blend of analytical capabilities, strategic thinking and emotional intelligence as you help set the vision, mission and define our global commerce strategy. What You’ll Do:
- Develop and define the vision, mission and global top-down strategy across the payments, financial products, risk and compliance businesses
- Define our team's value proposition, setting top-down strategic priorities and OKRs
- Provide critical guidance, insights and strategic frameworks to the C-suite and senior leaders
- Work with Strategic finance to optimally allocate resources & investments to help the team scale and assist in cyclical strategic planning cycles to guide operational and tech prioritization.
- Identify operational and structural weaknesses and identify opportunities to develop new processes to keep our local and regional teams as efficient as possible
- Be a SME and thought partner, working closely with cross-functional leaders across product, engineering, operations, marketing and finance, globally, to develop a strong pulse on market trends, competition and emerging strategic opportunities to pursue
- Lead leadership strategic readouts and monthly global business reporting
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in consulting / strategy or related roles; high-growth operations, strategy or startup experience

- Excellent analytical and structured thinker - you connect the dots between data, can understand the big picture and gut check every number you see
- Exceptional storytelling abilities. A strong communicator with an ability to craft a story out of very few as well as billions of data points
- An ability to synthesize information quickly, distill key takeaways, and weave insights into a compelling story that clarifies and inspires
- An ability to influence and lead by building deep relationships across our broad organization, foster a collaborative work environment, and understand problems from diverse perspectives. Humility and empathy are critical to success in this role
- High standards and a bias toward action. You find context and information you need through relationships across the organization, you push for clarity and delivery, and you hold a high bar from your contributions and those of the people you work with

- Outstanding SQL & Excel / data management skills
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$169,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$169,000 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$137,000 per year - USD$152,000 per year.
