RESPONSIBILITIES
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Electrical Design, Mechanical Engineering, Physical, Material Sciences, or a relevant engineering major or degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, with a demonstrated track record of strategic planning, execution, and control. 5+ years of experience in employee management and technical leadership.
  • Excellent understanding of hardware and software architecture and the interoperability of complex systems. Fundamental electrical engineering knowledge is a prerequisite.
  • Experience leading technical projects and a leadership background in technology.
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, drive, attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in hardware design and validation involving one or more of the following technologies: Acoustics, Display, Touch, Imaging Sensors, Motion Sensors, Automation
  • Experience in hardware and firmware encompasses activities such as bringing up/debugging and validating circuits, as well as circuit design and debugging.
  • Engineering leadership: ability to approach problem solving flexibly, cut through ambiguity; use data and prior experience to make and own the hard calls
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis methods
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,400 and $358,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
