The objective of our team is to deliver work as it relates to air quality advisory services to industry/government/ mandatory reporting requirements (which will mostly be assurance).

In the role you’ll focus on non-financial assurance across the above-mentioned locations. This will include:

  • Taking responsibility for completion of work products, and client deliverables to a high standard
  • Providing relevant and accurate technical advice and insight to clients
  • Managing potential problems and opportunities in delivering services, including process improvements, changes in expectations or scope, in accordance with relevant EY standards, policies and methodologies
  • Being confident and credible when presenting complex messages to senior client stakeholders, using a variety of media and methods
  • Building trusted relationships with EY clients
  • Contributing to the go-to-market plans, enhancing market presence across Oceania and supporting the execution of the CCaSS strategy
  • Fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment while applying technical expertise and reporting to direct project teams on delivery of work

What we’re looking for

To qualify for the role, you have:

  • Tertiary qualification, such as in engineering, environmental sciences, meteorology, climate studies.
  • Practical experience with emission estimation methods including those detailed in NPI EET Manuals, US EPA AP-42, EMEP/EEA guidebook.
  • Practical experience with meteorological and dispersion modelling software (including but not limited to –TAPM, WRF, CALMET/CALPUF, AERMOD)
  • Significant experience with analysis of large data sets and using software such as excel, Rstudio package openair, Arc GIS
  • Knowledge and experience in air quality and climate policy and standards
  • Outstanding project and time management skills
  • You will have 5 + years’ experience of relevant professional experience
