Develop and implement a global events strategy that supports the goals and objectives of the Workplace Solutions business.
Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-impact events, including conferences, roundtables, workshops, and client engagement activities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, communications, and business leaders, to ensure alignment and integration of event initiatives.
Manage a small team of event professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and professional development.
Oversee the development of event budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, partners, and industry associations to enhance event offerings and capabilities.
Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event strategies and deliver innovative experiences.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to event management and execution.
Measure and report on the effectiveness and impact of events, utilizing data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
10 years of experience in event management, with a focus on global or large-scale events.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing team.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into impactful event strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
Proficiency in event management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel as required to support global events.
