RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes new hires, terminations, and job requisitions using Johnson Electric’s HRIS (Workday).
Coordinates co-op funding with several external organizations.
Supports with the creation of internal communication materials, such as newsletters, TV displays, and other communications as needed.
Supports the coordination of local and global employee engagement initiatives.
Records and tracks training activities for Corporate Services, PM-Services, and FPS-Services employees
Runs reporting monthly, quarterly, and bi-annually for several Learning & Development programs
Supports with onboarding, off-boarding, and position change activities as required.
Uploads and updates organizational charts on Stackpole’s intranet (MaRC).
Drafts Confirmation of Employment Letters, as requested by employees.
Works in compliance with Johnson Electric’s Quality and EHS Policies and Procedures, including IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001
Performs other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Student or Recent Graduate of a college or university Human Resources or Business program
Ability to work in a highly organized manner where attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality are critical
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude
Adaptable and flexible individual
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
