RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processes new hires, terminations, and job requisitions using Johnson Electric’s HRIS (Workday).

  • Coordinates co-op funding with several external organizations.

  • Supports with the creation of internal communication materials, such as newsletters, TV displays, and other communications as needed.

  • Supports the coordination of local and global employee engagement initiatives.

  • Records and tracks training activities for Corporate Services, PM-Services, and FPS-Services employees

  • Runs reporting monthly, quarterly, and bi-annually for several Learning & Development programs

  • Supports with onboarding, off-boarding, and position change activities as required.

  • Uploads and updates organizational charts on Stackpole’s intranet (MaRC).

  • Drafts Confirmation of Employment Letters, as requested by employees.

  • Works in compliance with Johnson Electric’s Quality and EHS Policies and Procedures, including IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / ISO 14001

  • Performs other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current Student or Recent Graduate of a college or university Human Resources or Business program

  • Ability to work in a highly organized manner where attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality are critical

  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude

  • Adaptable and flexible individual

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities

  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
