The Role

As a Product Manager in our team, you will contribute to the evolution of the Quote-to-Order process in SAP Public Cloud ERP. You will work in close collaboration with senior product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define product capabilities and help shape the future of our CPQ solutions.

You will be an individual contributor to the team, supporting key responsibilities such as:

Product vision & strategy:

• Support the articulation of an outcome-based product vision that aligns with customer and market needs.

• Participate in market research and customer engagements to understand trends and support prioritization efforts.

• Contribute to internal business case preparation and documentation of product requirements.

Ownership & problem-solving

• Take responsibility for defined problem spaces within the Quote-to-Order domain and contribute to potential solution directions.

• Collaborate with senior product managers and engineering teams to define scope and solution approaches.

Continuous product backlog planning & execution:

• Support the maintenance and prioritization of the product backlog based on product goals and customer feedback.

• Write user stories and contribute to acceptance criteria for product features.

• Coordinate with related product teams to ensure solution consistency across components.

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work with engineering, user experience, and product marketing teams to contribute to feature delivery and end-to-end solution development.

• Participate in product planning sessions and support stakeholder alignment activities.

• Learn and adopt best practices from experienced product managers in the team.

Customer-centric and data-driven decision making

• Help champion user needs through analysis of customer feedback and usage data.

• Contribute to product insights and reporting by supporting data collection and analysis.

• Assist in preparing recommendations for future product enhancements.

Role Requirements

• Motivation to build expertise in Quote-to-Order and understand key business processes of cloud ERP customers.

• Ability to work within defined areas of responsibility and drive execution of tasks and deliverables.

• Some familiarity with ERP software or SaaS principles is beneficial.

• Willingness to learn independently and take initiative in problem-solving.

• Strong communication skills and ability to convey ideas clearly in cross-functional settings.

• Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback from colleagues and leadership.

Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in the software industry, ideally in product management, product owner role or consulting.

• Exposure to managing product lifecycle activities or contributing to software delivery projects is a plus.

• Professional fluency in spoken and written English.
