As a consultant within the business, you will be responsible for the individual tax compliance requirements of the international mobile assignees (expatriates) of our clients. You will be allocated a client portfolio and required to collaborate with the managers on these accounts and support them with the overall management of the client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

The following will be your main responsibilities in respect of the client portfolio allocated to you:

• Completion of personal income tax returns (Annual and Provisional)
• Attending to all other compliance related matters such as disputes, ceasing of tax residency with SARS
• Managing and meeting all SARS tax filing deadlines in respect of your client portfolio
• Attend to the draft of responses to queries and questions from our clients on personal and expatriate tax matters.
• Attend and support your senior team members on all client meetings and tax briefings with individuals
• Attend and support your managers with all administrative matters in respect of your clients such as billings

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Have a Tertiary Qualification (degree or diploma) with accounting, taxation as subjects
• A Higher Diploma in Tax and/or Hons in Tax would be an advantage
• Work experience of at least 1 year
• Individual tax compliance experience would be an advantage
