Citi Private Client and Citigold have Financial Advisors covering clients in North America, Hong Kong, Singapore and United Arab Emirates.

Initial focus will be creating and driving a delivery strategy for Securities Based Lending and Residential Mortgages with further expansion in these segments as part of the wider Citi Wealth growth strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the Heads of Citi Private Client and Citigold in the respective region to create lending solutions to support growth objectives.

  • Establish a reputation of execution and excellence.

  • Understand and articulate the market specific products, competitive environment, platform gaps, challenges, and opportunities and provide input into global lending strategy and growth plans.

  • Act as the initial subject matter expert and escalation point lending products.

  • Partner with lending leadership to curate a high performing team culture through cross-team coaching and mentoring and collaboration with colleagues across the US and Internationally.

  • Partner with our retail credit risk lead to progress growth agenda across product lines while ensuring compliance with the Firm’s Retail Credit Risk Policies

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of business development initiatives in collaboration with segment leadership to support wider Citi Wealth lending growth aspirations. Ensuring effective and consistent compliance to control standards

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of lending experience in the UHNW, HNW and Affluent segments.

  • Experience as part of a high performing lending team and a desire to drive growth

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, investments, banking and loan products

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Detail orientation with strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines to drive execution for clients

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Strong initiative and interactive approach to problem solving

  • Displays flexibility and independence in a demanding environment

  • Completion of formal credit training program preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree / University degree required (or equivalent experience)

  • Licenses: Series 7, 66 (or 63/65) preferred
