About the RoleAs a Claims Associate, you will serve as a critical connection between Uber and our insurance partner carriers, delivering timely, accurate, and professional support. Your role will involve managing both written (email) and phone (outbound) communications, while working closely with Adjusters to ensure efficient claim resolutions for ongoing cases. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will play a key role in upholding our high standards of service.
This hybrid position requires 50% onsite attendance at our Phoenix office, where you will collaborate with our dedicated Claims team. The role follows a Monday-Friday schedule, offering two shift options: an 8-hour shift between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM, or 4-10 hour shifts within the same timeframe.
What You'll Do- Act as a primary point of contact for insurance partner carriers, providing exceptional support through email and outbound phone calls.
- Collaborate with Adjusters to address inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain efficient claim workflows.
- Utilize and navigate various internal tools to access and manage information related to safety, insurance, and compliance.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Contribute to the seamless operations of Uber’s Claims team by delivering timely and reliable information to our partners.
Basic Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or support role involving phone or digital communication.
Preferred Qualifications- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience handling sensitive or safety-related matters.
- 6 months of experience on the Safety team at Uber.
- Familiarity with claims systems and tools such as Chronicle, Bliss, JIRA, and Zendesk.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high adaptability to changing business needs.
- Ability to multitask across various technology platforms.

For Phoenix, AZ-based roles: The base hourly rate range for this role is USD$21.88 per hour - USD$23.08 per hour.
