About the role:

As part of Marketing Excellence EMEA, the Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC)Senior Specialist

This is a maternity leave backfill rolefrom August 2024 until May 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the annual Marketing Excellence plan in support of divisional business objectives.
  • Support a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Develop content marketing strategies for divisional franchises with clear deliverables, milestones, accountabilities, and measures of success that are needed to accomplish business objectives and inform future projects.
  • Partner with the omnichannel and product marketing teams and other stakeholders to deliver relevant content throughout the customer journeys for online and offline touchpoints. This may include healthcare professional (HCP), referrer, and patient campaigns on products and technologies, solutions and services, therapies, clinical data, tradeshows, and customer events.
  • Translate value propositions into stories through compelling storytelling.
  • Manage existing portfolio of content and create new content where there are gaps and opportunities.
  • Manage creative, copywriting, and translation vendors, in compliance with Boston Scientific’s policies.
  • Manage creative and designs, in line with Boston Scientific’s brand standards, and act as brand ambassador.
  • Apply operating models, processes, tools and technologies along the content lifecycle.
  • Manage and track budget.
  • Monitor KPIs and perform content analysis, optimizing and ensuring the effectiveness of marketing content.
  • Successfully collaborate with key partners in EMEA and Global Integrated Marketing Communications and demonstrate excellence in creating synergies, cross-fertilization, and continuous improvement.

Skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or other relevant fields.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing communications and/or content strategies (B2B or B2C).
  • Fluency in English
  • Medtech industry experience preferred
  • Complete understanding and wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
  • Experience in developing and deploying successful content strategies for marketing communications campaigns or programs.
  • Business experience, expertise and relationship skills to influence stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the formal and informal organization by building partnerships that promote stakeholder action, even without direct authority.
  • Partner with and advise business stakeholders to enable meaningful communications, consistent with company values.
  • Planning, prioritizing, executing and monitoring projects and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe, standard and budget.
  • Highly organised with good project management and planning skills.
  • General knowledge of other related disciplines, business unit function and cross-group dependencies/relationships.
  • Knowledge about SEO and content production for various digital, social media and other channels is an advantage.
