Job Duties: Independentlyand develop approaches to solutions for assigned projects byand mitigating risk and communicatingothers. Provide technical solutions to detail certain aspects of product design and ensure that resulting design specification fits into technical architectural framework. Perform analysis to define design requirements for modification to existing tools, utilities, system structures, environments and provide technical perspective for input into project scope and estimating activities. Recommend andtechnical design methodologies,presentations internally and externally. Telecommuting isan option

Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Computer programming and scripting languages including C, C++, MATLAB, and Bash; (2) Experience with Version Control tools like Visual Source Safe and MKS; (3) Automation of testing and production deployment steps; (4) Networking concepts and communication protocols; (5) Unix/Linux operating systems; (6) Data structures and algorithms; and (7) Code optimization and debugging.
