About the Role

This role requires a unique mix of deep technical skills (especially in coding and optimization modeling), creative problem-solving, and strong partner/project management abilities.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, implement, and oversee automation assets to scale new and existing processes, always aiming for operational efficiency and growth.
  • Use advanced analytics and business intelligence techniques to uncover hidden patterns and opportunities. Leverage data to challenge the status quo and drive action across teams!
  • Determine project priorities, set realistic timelines, and efficiently drive projects by coordinating with partners and managing projects.
  • Proactively identify new product features to enhance the experience for Eaters, Couriers, and Restaurants on our platform.
  • Collaborate with Product/Engineering as an Operations liaison on existing processes and frameworks, coordinating with other regions to scale and standardize processes.
  • Maintain all active processes in the team’s portfolio, focusing on reliability and transparency with partners.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in startups, strategy, operations, analytics, or similar roles with a solid track record in quantitative fields.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Technical skills: SQL and Python are a must.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language, SQL, and optimization methods; Python expertise is essential.
  • Machine learning experience.
  • Strong communication skills for constructive discussions with both technical and non-technical team members from diverse backgrounds.

  • Proactive attitude in a dynamic work environment, with flexibility and a collaborative, positive approach.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to address issues involving people, processes, and data using logical and scientific methods.
  • Experience in building large-scale solutions, potentially integrating with various frameworks.
  • Proficiency in optimization models (e.g., classifiers, regressions, forecasting) for both deterministic and stochastic scenarios.
  • Self-motivated with a “hacking” mindset to seek out and create innovative solutions for challenging problems.
