Assist with technical accounting support the Global Licensing Revenue team.
- With attention to detail, assist with analyzing and reviewing complex licensing contracts with customers, involving multiple element arrangement, unspecified upgrades, service & maintenance etc.
- Participate in month end and quarter end close related to License Revenue Accounting cycle.
- Enable the technical and operational skills of a team of revenue senior analysts and analysts.
- Maintain appropriate revenue policies & procedures and ensure they are applied appropriately. Participated in writing or review of technical position papers
- Maintain operational effectiveness and documentation for internal controls and SOX
- Collaborate with auditors; supporting audit of license revenue
- Lead projects related to financial systems and business process transformation/upgrades as necessary
- Be a change agent for implementing new insights and process improvements in an increasingly complex environment
- Establishing SOX control procedures
The company requires a strong technical accounting executive with a clear orientation towards leadership and delivering results.
CA (India) (required), CA / ACCA (UK) or CPA (USA) (strong differentiator) with 7 years + experience in revenue accounting and team development. Clear Understanding and extensive hands-on experience in the practical application of revenue recognition literature(US GAAP/IFRS).
The candidate requires to have deep knowledge of IFRS 15 and ASC 606. The ideal candidate shall have significant experience working in a public company (reporting under the above accounting standards).
